A Chevron Seal Set, also known as a V-Pack Seal Set, is a multi-piece sealing assembly commonly used in hydraulic and pneumatic applications. Designed to handle high pressures and varying loads, this seal set provides excellent resistance to extrusion and wear.

Components of a Chevron Seal Set
A typical Chevron Seal Set includes three parts:

• Support Ring (Base/Ring Backing) – Provides a stable base and supports the stack.
• V-Rings (Chevron Rings) – The main sealing elements shaped like a ‘V’; stack of these adapts to pressure variations.
• Pressure Ring (Female Adapter) – Applies the compression needed to expand the V-rings under pressure.
